With its compact body shape and punchy sound, the GTe Blacktop adds a fresh visual flavor to our line of GT guitars along with a new sonic profile thanks to its walnut back and sides. Along with a spruce top, this model’s all-solid tonewoods yields a midrange-focused response similar to mahogany but with a bit more overtone presence. Walnut’s initially dry character opens up as the guitar is played, and you’ll notice more bloom and power in the low end with time. The C-Class bracing inside dials up even more bass resonance and warmth.
